First Visit

If you’re thinking of checking us out one Sunday, here are a few common questions you may want answered in advance.

What denomination is Millville Church?

We’re a United Methodist Church.  Learn more about the United Methodist Church.

What style of preaching can I expect?

Bible-based, relevant, contemporary, practical and easy to understand. We boldly proclaim the unchanging word of God!  Learn more about the teaching and preaching at Millville UMC.

What is available for my child?

Children's programming is provided for preschool through 5th grade at the11:00am service.  Nursery care is available during this time as well, for infants and toddlers. During worship the Pre-5th grade children gather with the entire church in the worship center.  During the worship service we take time for a "children's moment" - a brief message designed specifically for children!  After this time, the Pre-5 children are dismissed for Junior Church.  Learn more about our Children's Ministry.

What do you have for adults?

We have a full range of opportunities for adults at all stages of life to meet together on Sundays and throughout the week, to socialize, study God’s word, pray and serve together — Community Groups, Men’s and Women’s groups, Young Adults, Married Couples and Senior Adults, to name just a few. Learn more about all the Ministries we offer.

What style of music do you play?

Our worship service offers dynamic and relevant preaching, and includes a wide range of music, including contemporary-styles and traditional hymns.  We have a praise team that leads us in worship every week, and often times we have our choir joining as well.  Find out more on our Worship page.

What should I wear?

We are a casual environment and welcome everyone to come as they are. On Sundays you'll find most men and women dressed very casually. While some may be fully dressed up, you'll also find many in shorts and tee shirts. Whatever you're wearing, we'll be glad to see you!
